Baby Massage Instruction

Learn how to massage your baby with a qualified baby massage therapist. There are many benefits to massaging your child from an early age including a deeper bond between parent & child & targeting specific problems such as sleeping problems, colic & boosting the immune system.
Research has also shown that Baby massage can help mothers who are suffering from Post Natal Depression by strengthening the bond between parents & child while gaining confidence in hands on skills, promoting self worth, socialising & meeting other parents in the same position building a support network.

During the workshop you will be shown a new set of skills on specific areas of your child, giving you a chance to practice & perfect them. By the end of the workshop you will be able to confidently give your baby a full body massage like a professional.

The workshop includes;
- Benefits of massage for baby & Parents
- Contra-indications of Massage (when not to massage your child)
- Health & safety concerning Massaging your child
- Learning a full massage routine of the body, including specific techniques for common ailments such as irritability, sleeplessness & cold symptoms.
- You will receive handouts with full instructions to everything covered during the workshop
- A copy of the Massage routine.
- Be supplied with specific & beneficial Massage oils.

ADVANCED MASSAGE WORKSHOP
After completing the first workshop learn a more specialised set of techniques to help with conditions such as alleviating symptoms of the common cold, sinus problems, coughs & chest problems. As well as problems such as tension & stress from crying which then causes a baby to cry.

Workshops can be tailor made to suit individuals or groups needs. We also offer workshops for Dad’s, grandparents & carers.
