SEATED SHIATSU MASSAGE

What is Seated Shiatsu Massage?

Seated Shiatsu uses methods taken from Acupressure and Shiatsu. This massage brings you immediate stress relief, helps to ease tired aching muscles and promote relaxation. As it relieves stiffness and promotes circulation and flexibility, it is particularly helpful for reducing the danger of overuse injuries.

What can it treat?

Back pain
Headaches & Migraines
Fatigue
Joint pain, RSIs and reduced mobility
Whiplash injuries & neck stiffness

What to expect at a session?

The session takes place fully clothed on a specially designed chair that is ideally designed for massaging neck, back and shoulders. A variety of techniques are used to improve energy flow - these may include gentle holding, pressing with palms, thumbs, fingers and elbows, on the body’s meridians and, where appropriate, rotations and stretches.

Before appointment
Do not eat a large meal beforehand
Normal work attire is okay for Seated Massage, but avoid skirts & tight trousers
